Marc Hemeon Solo Show Preview

I love being a human. Drifting in and out of aliveness. I offer this work as a reflection of the human condition - on one side the the pain, worry and fear. On the other side - ecstasy, calm and confidence. No one on earth escapes the duality of humanness and the immense challenges this presents to knowing oneself. I created this work under the immense weight of personal loss and the practice of living with gratitude, compassion and duty to oneself.

Loving yourself is like diving into the ocean with nothing to guide you but your own sense-of-self to find your way. The ocean is a place of beauty and danger, peace and tranquility, great storms and calm mornings.

We are the ocean - with many moods and many sides. We accept and love the ocean with all of its different faces and attitudes - despite its power to destroy and hurt, we bask in its waves and waters.

May we love and accept each other and ourselves as we love and accept the ocean.
