Sky No. 1

Hello Dear Friends,

I am so excited to be showing the first painting in my sky series, named appropriately enough Sky No. 1. Last fall I was flying home over the Pacific and I looked out the window and I saw God aka The Universe aka Source - however you define the magic that holds this universe together - I saw it and felt it and it moved me so deeply. This painting is a depiction of what I saw outside that airplane window that day. At the time I was navigating a break up and my fathers passing and I felt completely overwhelmed. When I looked out the window and saw this, I was held in the love and glory of our creator and knew I was going to be ok. I know everyones faith and spritiuality is deeply personal and many of us have different belief systems and traditions that feel different - but at the core of every religion and spiritual belief out there is the concept of pure love. The love we have for a child, the love I hope we can have for ourselves and our friends. This feeling and knowing can be difficult to hold and grasp - but that day I was so grateful for this message and reminder from the Universe that I am loved and that I AM love. It filled my soul.

I will be showing this piece in LA tonight at 4414 W. 2nd St. in Los Angeles from 6-8pm (it will also be on display all day tomorrow ). If you are around LA tonight come check it out.
